this is the recording of your script by professional voice talents in our studio. You can choose from a variety of styles and what you would like emphasized. Help is available to review or even create your script.
Script -
this is the text of the message you want to record. Your script is divided into the number of messages you have. For example, your welcome greeting and product descriptions are part of your script.
Clips -
a clip is a voice recording that can be played from beginning to end. For example a welcome greeting is one clip, a product description another. Single or multiple clips can be put on any webpage. A clip can be any length you desire.
Delivery - You may have your recordings delivered to as wav files or in other encodings. They can be downloaded, sent by email, delivered on CDs or hosted and streamed by VoiceOnSite.
Streaming audio - When digital audio clips become more than a few seconds or minutes long, the size of the file needed to
store the data becomes quite large. If the files are linked or embedded into a Web page, the person browsing your Web site may endure a long delay between clicking on a link and hearing that clip
play. This is because a large portion of the file--possibly the entire thing--needs to download before the file can play. Streaming alleviates this wait. The media is fed to the user as the media is played.
In other words, it's a continuous transaction. VoiceOnSite streaming is instant and does not require any lengthy player downloads. Quality- Your clips are recorded at CD quality 44,100Hz.(HiFi).
Our compression rate is 8.000Hz in order to provide quick streaming at current bandwidths. There is a slight degregation of sound quality at this rate.Let's call it LoFi. As bandwidth and encoding
